Favorite Music Video: No tengo comentario largo sobre este video... solo les puedo decir q even with a mouthfull of cavities just remember to SMILE... its free =D Creo q llevaba bastante rato de no postear videos nuevos, pero finalmente encontre otro de esos "must see videos" para los q les gusta el grunge. Este es un video d una d mis canciones favoritas de STP, Atlanta. En mi opinion es una increible cancion y en este video se puede apreciar la gran pasion con la q la canta el Sr. Scott Weiland. Eso sin mencionar lo perfecto q calzan los violines con la cancion x el estilo de la melodia. Segun lei hay gente q cree q esta cancion habla d una mujer y otros creen q habla d una droga, en lo personal creo q no es necesario encerrar tanto su significado y mejor dejarlo a la interpretacion propia d cada uno. Y si eso no los convence, les pregunto: q otra cancion d rock conocen q tenga marimba?! :P En fin, espero q les guste tanto como a mi. Bueno, lamentablemente el video que tenia d Pearl Jam d Alive (a dollar short) fue removido. La buena noticia es q encontre una version acustica muy interesante de Corduroy (tamb de Pearl Jam) en la q no solo varian un poco la letra sino tamb le agregan tabla y piano. Lo primero q me paso x la mente cuando lo vi fueron las palabras del Sr. Maynard (Tool) cuando dice: "We've been looking at one of our songs from a different angle, under a different light, so we can hopefully kind of see it almost for the first time.", xq fue como escucharla por 1era vez, como una cancion completamente nueva. En lo personal me gusta mucho la letra de esta cancion, ya q siento q nos trata d recordar q si dejamos d tratar q las personas salten x aros d fuego para ganarse nuestra confianza y amor y simplemente somos nosotros mismos, podemos recordarnos q la idea es divertirse. Espero q les guste. OK, para mantener el nivel de calidad, vamos a poner una version muy interesante que encontre de "Wish You Were Here" de Pink Floyd con Billy Corgan de los Pumpkins (yo se... increible!!!). Esta es la explicacion q encontre del video: "On January 17, 1996 after over three decades of being one of the pioneer bands in Rock Music, Pink Floyd was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..." "...Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins inducted Pink Floyd, the archetype mystical performance rock band, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, describing them as the "ultimate rock and roll anomaly..." "...After accepting the award, Corgan joined Pink Floyd members David Gilmour, and Rick Wright for a performance of "Wish You Were Here."
